SINK WITH ME
there's a silent ship of metal
floating in a silent sea
and no matter how i swim
it's ever far from me
there's a silent rock of ice
bobbing in that silent sea
and no matter how i scream
i'm the only one that sees
the silent rock of ice
met the silent floating craft
and the two meshed together
in a sinking ice bound mass
the lights are dimming slowing
the funnels steam and foam
the great rotating engine
now cracks and loudly groans
there's a silent ice carved city
beneath the heaving waves
where monsters lurk and feed
and mirfolk treasure lays
now the silent ice fraught castle
is crowned with ship debris
the monsters have their victims
and the ship is lost at sea
i'm floating in the water
watching bubbles mar the waves
waiting for someone to surface
choking, waiting to be saved
but the waters keep their victims
not one head breaks the foam
just dolls and other trinkets
no human is going home
the silent sea is still now
no ships to stir up waves
the mermaids work below me
pushing corpses in coral graves
CAPTAIN DEPRESSING STRIKES AGAIN FOLKS!
